About ric rac designs

Our story is an evolving success journey of two wildly creative moms and business partners in Boulder, Colorado who fused all of their experience and passion to create ric rac designs.

You might say that this story found us. The bags we made for ourselves and friends quickly turned into custom orders for women who enjoy the “not your average” fabric combinations, funky fringe bags with purposeful storage. Our home-sewn creations went from hobby to a thriving local business by word of mouth. The high demand led us to contract sewers, who we are glad to say, live close to home.

We constantly challenge ourselves to create new designs and fabric concoctions, which we are thrilled to share with all of you who help us grow daily by spreading the word when asked, "Where did you get your bag?"
